ZOEK is an international artspace, commercial studio, art workshops academy, global artists collective and photo gallery dedicated to promoting contemporary photography, films, and experimental visual arts. Founded by Swarnab and Sorav in Bangalore with international presence in Dubai and London, we have more than 20 years experience and we are professionally trained and certified photographer, cinematographer, filmmaker and art curator.
We believe in the positive impact visual arts and design has on our well-being, creativity, critical thinking and emotional intelligence. What makes us unique is our blend of Indian Inspirations, Eastern Aesthetics with contemporary visual inspirations and influences. The core team consists of visual artists, photographers, cinematographers, art curators and digital art gurus with experience in fine arts, photojournalism, documentary work, film-making, music, sound design, creative writing and professionalism akin to the style and characteristics that distinguish the unique quality and depth of our artspace, studio, workshops, creative services, exhibitions and photo gallery.
By working with some of leading local and global brands with diverse range of subjects and projects, we've been able to blend international minimalism with expressive Indian and Eastern aesthetics to create signature style & approach to visual design. Our comprehensive creative solutions include generating design ideas, mood board, technical visual solutions, bespoke story telling via all forms of art direction, photography, cinematography, visual design elements, light & sound design, and digital arts. We provide project management to guide you through the process from start to finish. Over the years, we've built great relationships with leading brands, giving our clients a full-service design team to plan, design and execute strategic projects. Purpose and Mission
Hailing from a family of artists, musicians, writers and painters, creativity was a way of life for Swarnab & Sorav while growing up at the cultural capital of India lovingly known as Calcutta (Now, Kolkata). We are passionately experimenting with Indian Renaissance and the Bengal school of art in the context of post modernism, abstract expressionism and contemporary theory and practice.
The desire to express personal emotions, the dream to shape our unique artistic imagination led to the foundation ‘Zoek’ in 2014, which means to "Seek" in Dutch.
Zoek provides contemporary, experimental visual arts and timeless design solutions for the highest creative visual needs of our time and beyond for commercial work and fine arts. Emerging as a modern Artspace and Collective Hub to inspire the future school of design concepts, visual ideas and progressive thoughts. Providing time and space to create a legacy of original commercial & fine arts based on personal experiences, limitless dreams and emotionalism. Zoek supports emerging and contemporary photography theory & practices leading to the infinite possibility of fine arts.
